Student Organizing
Does your kid’s homework not make it all the way to the teacher? Do you think your child (or you) could get better grades if time was managed better? School gets harder with every new phase from middle school to graduate level college.
Often students find they’ve outgrown their organizing systems when the expectations of them go up at school. Some students have yet to discover organizing systems that work for them. Sometimes it’s because they’ve never learned to organize. Other times a learning disability like ADHD is presenting an extra challenge. Occasionally it’s a combination of both reasons. I teach students as young as eight years old through adulthood the organizing and time management skills necessary to do homework efficiently, always find what they need, and turn their work in on time. I do not tutor students on academic material. If your child(ren) (or you if you are the student) are bothered by low grades, high stress levels, or low self-esteem due to academic disorganization, we can create change together. |
